Aromatherapy for Life and Health: An Introduction to Essential Oils

What is aromatherapy? What is an essential oil and how are they produced? What are some medicinal and household uses for essential oils? In this workshop you will learn about their therapeutic benefits as well as how to make lotions, salves, room sprays and household disinfectants. You will take home the essential oil creations you make!

Advanced Essential Oils: Blending and Therapeutic Uses

Custom blending of essential oils is a great way to work with specific conditions and needs both in your body and life. When the oils are combined properly they create a synergistic effect that is more powerful than the individual oil. In this advanced workshop you will learn the art of essential oil blending and go into greater detail of the therapeutic effects of these combinations. You will have the opportunity to create your own custom essential oil blend with the oils provided in the class.

Herbal Medicine for Women's Health

Herbs are a safe, natural and inexpensive way to support our health and well-being.  Learn how to use simple yet effective preparations such as teas, infusions, and tonics to extract the medicinal benefits.  These remedies have been used for centuries by many cultures and they are still just as useful for us today.
This talk will focus on herbs that provide nutritional support and hormone balance for women's health needs.  You will have an opportunity to taste and prepare some of your own herbal tonics and infusions.
